Replacing all of your teeth is a big decision, and you may wonder what your options are. Today we will review the different types of multiple tooth replacement options we offer with dentures in Littleton, CO, so you can make the best decision for your smile.

Partial Dentures

A partial denture is an excellent option for someone who is missing multiple teeth but also has several healthy teeth remaining.

Partials are removable, and they fill the gaps in your smile with strategically placed prosthetic teeth attached to the appliance, which anchor to healthy teeth with metal clasps. A partial denture is a great way to regain your chewing function and ability to smile with confidence again.

Traditional Full Dentures

Full dentures are also removable appliances made of acrylic and designed to complete your smile and rebuild your facial structure.

But don't think that today's dentures are similar to what your grandparents wore! These days, dentures are natural looking, better fitting, and easier to manage.

Removable dentures rely on adhesive or suction to your jawbone to stay in place, so some patients experience a learning curve as they're getting used to eating, chewing, and talking with their new teeth.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Dr. Linn can use dental implants to support a full or partial denture. The carefully placed implants hold the denture solidly in place, so patients don't have to worry about it slipping or moving when they talk or eat.

Implants also protect the health of your jawbone, which can suffer from deterioration when you wear a traditional denture.
